Can I trust NoScript any longer?

Giorgio Maone, the author of NoScript, recently released an update that actively and intensionally crippled Adblock Plus.
The piece of code responsible was reportedly obfuscated to make it hard to find and analyze.

This is quite surprising ! A tactic such as blocking opponents/competitors from an organizations that was made for the purpose of stopping unethical treatment (invasive scripts) is ironic for the least.

Now that I know this, I'll gladly use another similar product.
